"Really great Italian restaurant with great pasta and pizzas. Cosy and super friendly staff. Great value for money and seems to be very popular and therefore fills up quickly. My advice is to reserve a table to avoid disappointment. Can really recommend this establishment."

"2024 update. Still love this place. Cacio and the team really look after you and the food is always well cooked and presented by the chefs. Disappointed that we were not able to have our last meal there on Wednesday 13th as they took the sensible approach to the DANA and closed. Turned out to be a wise move. We will be back though as the food there is great. Update from a year or two earlier. Been coming here for the last 3 years now whilst on holiday. This restaurant is run very well by the owner, who I think is called Salvatore. The staff are great and friendly and the ambiance and decor are really good. Have to say that I haven't had anything here which has been anything less than delicious. I have had the diavolo pizza, delicious, the spaghetti carbonara, delicious and the lasagne, also delicious. All in all, a great Italian experience. The only let down is that it's not a very big restaurant and if you just turn up without a reservation, you may be out of luck, but that just shows really how good a job the owner and his team do. 2021 update. We have been back to Il Gusto in October and have found that the food, staff and service is still great. Cacio and Salvatore and their team do everything they can to make your meal and evening pleasant, relaxing and full of great food. Top work boys !"
